closing out 2025 with a little check in
Everyone is doing a recap of their favorite things of the year right now and well, since, I ONLY write about my favorite things, I thought we should check in and make sure I am sticking to my chops and stand behind everything I claimed was wonderful.
The perfect T. You can read about my love for this shirt here. Or you can know that I ran to American Vintage on Abbot Kinney before I left for winter break in Florida to buy a fresh white tee and picked up this lovely brown color that was on sale.
My versatile mom shorts. While we took a bit of a break as I tucked all my shorts away, I currently write to you while wearing these in my standard warm weather uniform of a button down (this one is under $25 and is one of my favorites. 10/10 on the washability which is gets you an extra star from me) and my trusty Adidas shorts. They still stand.
My least popular post was about a laundry basket. But I stand by anything Steele Canvas makes. I won’t dwell because I understand you aren’t here for my miscellaneous house recommendations evidently!
Monika Blunder’s little pot of magic. Blunder Cover is currently 40% off (making it about $30) so seems like a no brainer. Everyone should have this in their arsenal of concealer/foundations. It just works.
Mutha’s Body Butter Melt. Still using it. Still traveling with it. Still excellent year-round. I continue to stand by the innovation of this formula.
And finally, my emotional support lip gloss. I still stand by it but I received the EADEM gloss yesterday and the color options are really lovely. It feels a little more special than Jouer, but not a replacement. The consistencies are very similar, which I appreciate. Jury’s still out, but I’ll report back.
